Karen Refugee Education Project (KREP)

This project provides access to education for vulnerable refugee children who would otherwise not have an opportunity to receive an education. The project ensures equal access for both girls and boys  to these educational opportunities.

The project was implemented in the Karen/Burmese refugee camp at Mae La.  The school has 43 full time teachers and 11 part time teachers and benefits over 800 students.  ADRA Thailand supports this project with resources for curriculum developement, infrastructure repair and maintenance, capacity building training for teachers and staff support.
