Hat Yai Flood Responses

ADRA Thailand staff joined hands with local church leaders and partner organizations in rebuilding, cleaning, and providing hands-on support to communities affected by the recent floods in Hat Yai. Together, the team worked closely to identify the most urgent needs and ensure assistance reached the hardest-hit families. Field teams carried out on-the-ground assessments across multiple neighborhoods, meeting with community representatives, documenting damage, and identifying households facing the greatest vulnerabilities. These assessments guided the selection of essential items needed for immediate relief, including clean drinking water, hygiene kits, dry food supplies, bedding materials, and basic household necessities. With this information, the procurement team began preparing emergency kits for rapid distribution to the affected communities. Through collaboration, compassion, and a shared commitment to service, ADRA Thailand and its partners continue to bring hope and practical support to families recovering from the impacts of the Hat Yai floods.
