From Shared Skills to Shared Success: Five Pro IT Teams Build a Business from Vocational Training
In February, a group of five dynamic Vocational Training (VT) graduates came together to turn their shared passion for technology into a thriving small business. Naming themselves “V Professional (Five Pro),” the group—comprising Saw Gay Doh Moo, Saw Klaine Sue Phoung, Mg Ye Min Htet, Naw Ru Dee, and Saw Nay Pay, aged 22 to 29—launched an IT and phone repair shop in a community where no similar services previously existed.
Drawing from the technical skills gained through ADRA’s vocational training program, each team member took on a specialized role based on their strengths:
Saw Klaine Sue Phoung, the group’s manager, provides a wide range of mobile phone services—from cracked screen and battery replacements to software troubleshooting and water damage repair.
Saw Gay Doh Moo, assistant manager and computer repair technician, handles both hardware and software solutions, including virus removal, system upgrades, and network troubleshooting.
Mg Ye Min Htet, the business controller, oversees financial strategies and operational efficiency to ensure sustainability.
Naw Ru Dee, as the accounting assistant, maintains financial records and manages daily transactions.
Saw Nay Lay, the general technician, supports overall operations and shop maintenance.
By combining their expertise and working collaboratively, Five Pro has not only increased work efficiency but also created a fun and motivated team environment. While teamwork brings strength, it also requires patience. The group acknowledges that differences in opinions can sometimes slow decision-making—but the process of mutual respect and problem-solving strengthens their collaboration.
Their business has quickly gained traction. Customers appreciate the team’s reliable service and reasonable pricing, and many have switched from other shops. With daily earnings of over 200 Baht and monthly income ranging between 6,000–8,000 Baht, Five Pro has seen steady growth since launching.
Despite facing challenges like delayed deliveries, offering credit to customers, and having to explain technical issues to non-experts, the team remains optimistic. They plan to expand by opening another branch in an underserved area while continuing to build trust with their current customer base.
Reflecting on their journey, the manager expressed deep appreciation for the opportunities created through ADRA’s vocational training program:
“ADRA didn’t just teach us technical skills—they gave us a chance to build our future. Their support empowered us to turn our dream into reality. Even when the path is difficult, the challenges make us stronger.”
Five Pro is more than a business—it’s a testament to what can happen when skills, support, and shared vision come together. Their story is one of transformation, empowerment, and resilience.
